Reward Chests
Reward Chests and Reward Keys[1] rarely come out of Supplies. Each come in Bronze, Silver and Gold[1] varieties. Opening a Reward Chest with two of the corresponding Reward Keys grants rewards of Gems, Tools and Greenhouse parts. Reward Chests automatically disappear if they are not opened within 72[2] hours of appearing on the farm.
Reward Chests can be merged to produce more valuable chests: Bronze into Silver, and Silver into Gold.[3] Merging chests resets the 72-hour timer. Reward Keys can also be merged in the same manner as Reward Chests. If you only use Merge Fives, this makes one Silver Key equivalent to 2.5 Bronze Keys and one Gold Key equivalent to 6.25 Bronze Keys.[4] Merge Fives are important for Reward Keys since it takes exactly 2 keys to unlock a Reward Chest.
While supplies have a small chance of providing Bronze or Silver Keys, they cannot give Gold keys; these must come from merging Silver Keys.
